We are pleased to announce that Lucky Lad farms will be coming to campus on April 12th from 7:45-3:00 PM to improve student morale as we approach exam season. Check SoundWaves this weekend for details on how to reserve your thirty-minute time slot. Lucky Lad will have stations in all parts of the Quad, featuring ducks, rabbits, goats, and their pig. To ensure our guests are most welcomed, Owen Gibson has offered to bring his pig, Brad, to stay with the other in the cage all day to make sure he’s comfortable in his new surroundings. These sessions must be during a study hall or your science class, so please coordinate that with your proctor or teacher. During lunch, Lucky Lad will be offering horseback rides on their pony, Dusty, through the sophomore parking lot. All sophomores must park in front of the Mary Campbell building. Due to their recent win of most participation during Grit Day, this activity will be exclusive to freshmen students. If you’re still looking for service hours, this is a great opportunity to volunteer to bring in food for the animals, including green apples, hay, watermelon, and rabbit seed. Please email Mr. Ianucelli if you would like to sign up.
