Announcing 2021 Commencement Speaker

The Class of 2021 has had anything but a “normal” senior year. Nonetheless, the BGA community, faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to make this year as special as possible. With their vast connections, the Future Alumni club and Ms. Napier has reached out to various artists and their friends and family searching for someone to make the seniors year even more unique. Over the past two months, the club has reached out to over 300 alumni and eventually got in contact with Matthew Morgan (‘96), the booking agent at William Morris Endeavor. He shared that he knows “plenty of artists” who would do anything for the senior class of such an amazing school like BGA, and after sharing some of his clients who would be willing to come, the Future Alumni have organized for Lizzo to give the commencement speech for the 2021 Graduation. We ask all students to welcome our guest with respect and support. Thank you to Ms. Napier, Mr. Morgan, the Future Alumni, and Lizzo for this unique opportunity and gift to the senior class.
