As a first-timer at this year’s Pilgrimage festival, I had no idea what to expect. If you’re a music lover and social butterfly, this is the event for you. With an amazing lineup including Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, John Batiste, Elle King, and more, there was truly something for everyone.
The best way to prepare for the weekend-long experience is to pack appropriately. If you go next year, definitely have a small bag (nothing bulky), money, sunscreen, plenty of water, a portable charger, and a personal favorite of mine, a disposable camera. Prepare to take several videos and pictures because you will not want to miss a single moment.
Once you have arrived at Harlinsdale park, get ready to be on your feet for the next 8 hours of the day. You will constantly be on the move, running back and forth, from stage to stage, trying to catch a glimpse of as many artists as possible. Another entertaining feature of the Pilgrimage Festival is that in between show times, there are many tents filled with small businesses and lots of food trucks. So no matter where you are on the property, there’s something going on and something to do.
Now that I have really sold you on this incredible music festival, I expect to see all of you there next year!
