Hoco Week Recap

By Kiana Raoufiniai

Homecoming Week is an opportunity for students to express themselves through humor or artistic choice. While serving as a respite for students and teachers alike, Homecoming also celebrates the welcoming back of alumni to our community. The most interesting and creatively liberating day was Movie Monday. This theme had varied responses at first but ultimately was met with enthusiastic get-ups. Next was Too Early Tuesday. This was more of a chill break from uniform, shown by onesies and bunny slippers. Following that was Western Wednesday, a celebration of our southern spirit and pride in denim and boots. Throwback Thursday allowed for more regular dress, ubiquitous in all closets since vintage and 90s clothing are currently trending. Others went for an even more vintage look by throwing all the way back to AD and BC times. Finally, blue and gold Friday magnified our school pride and ended the week with a spirited football game (a win!).

Here’s one outfit that won the hearts of many: Adler Puckett on Movie Monday, dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
