Wildcats: Division II-AA Runner-Ups

The Wildcats have had a phenomenal season this year, finishing the season last Thursday as the Division II-AA State Runner-Ups in their first time to the State Championship since 2018. The Wildcats played an exciting game, beginning with a touchdown in the first quarter. Through the second and third quarters, the Lions led, with the score at 24-13. The Wildcats had a wild 4th quarter. With fewer than two minutes left in the game, the Wildcats recovered two on-side kicks and scored two touchdowns for 13 points. The game ended with a CPA victory and a score of 38-26. Although it was not the outcome we wanted, we are proud of the tremendous amount of work put into the season to get to the State Championship, and we are hopeful for what next year has to offer.
