This is an historic year—not just because our sports teams made it to state six times and counting. What makes this year special is the unique group of students walking on campus now. No other year will ever see this intricate blend of personalities, talents, and stories. New faces join the community and familiar ones move on; the overarching dynamic of the BGA community evolves with them. Every year, in that way, is worth celebrating.
So what drives community? Just as BGA transforms year after year with the flow of its students, it’s the people that cultivate community. The more enthusiasm and spirit we collectively put into our communities, the more we get out. That’s school spirit—the driving force behind the BGA community, uniting us whether in celebration or in times of challenge.
Among us on campus there are dozens of leaders who actively strengthen our BGA community by promoting school spirit. For weeks, I have questioned, polled, and interviewed dozens of students to recognize some of these leaders in school spirit. Without further ado, here are the results!
